Reporting to the Content Manager, this role is responsible for writing engaging and customer facing copy for Cotswold Outdoor, Snow+Rock, Runners Need and Cycle Surgery and act as guardian for their respective Tone of Voices.
Your role will cover the following areas:
Responsible for developing and maintaining a clear, consistent and engaging Tone of Voice for each brand, flexing according to customer audience and channel.
Responsible for writing copy for each brand for different customer profiles and touchpoints including:
Act as guardian of Tone of Voice including customer facing copy throughout other parts of the business to ensure a consistent Tone of Voice and messaging.
Work closely with creative team to define creative solutions to ensure visuals and copy are aligned.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of:
Copywriting, either from a client or agency background would be preferred. The ideal candidate will not only be able to craft compelling and engaging copy but have a grasp of marketing principles to ensure that our copy engages existing and potential customers by delivering brand building and also commercial messages.
Skills and Qualifications:
Educated to degree level or higher
You will be able to put the customer at the heart of everything you write, ensuring that your communications are always relevant to our audience.
You will be comfortable taking brave and bold creative risks with our designers to make our communications stand out in a highly competitive sector.
You will have a passion for the outdoors including hiking, skiing, cycling and running. You will be able to use this passion to speak to our audience as an expert.
