How will you make an impact?

• Being the source of people expertise when supporting and coaching managers and their teams, ensuring managers take ownership for resolving people related matters
• Providing effective advice and support to retail colleagues, promoting employee wellbeing and maximising employee engagement
• Managing of employee relations casework across the region and in complex cases attending investigations, disciplinaries, and grievance hearings to provide guidance and support
• Supporting, advising and leading on change management projects across the region including restructures and store closures
• Using data, business metrics and evidence to inform and drive decision making and change across the region
• Shaping and implementing effective recruitment and retention strategies and activities within the region to recruit talent in line with the overall resourcing and succession plan
• Working alongside managers and the People and Product Development team to understand training needs and support with the design and delivery of training as required
• Supporting the People Partnering Manager and People Director, or leading on key business projects and initiatives, including organisation redesign, structure changes and system implementation

Please note this role is 40 hours per week.

You’ll fit right in if you:

• Good generalist knowledge of all aspects of HR; notably organisation restructure, performance management, talent management and people processes
• Proven track record of working at HR Partner level, within multi-site retail, hospitality, or similar
• Ideally CIPD level 5 qualified and above
• Strong IT Skills
• Confident in analysing and interpreting data to support decision making and to drive change
• Ability to communicate persuasively at all levels within the business, adapting style to different individuals and situations, always seeking win/win solutions
• Ability to build trust by dealing with issues with tact and sensitivity
• Works well under pressure and is resilient and positive in relation to change
• Provides effective and timely feedback to managers and colleagues to drive performance
