As part of the Outdoor and Cycle Concepts group, Cotswold Outdoor is joined by Runners Need and Snow + Rock to support outdoor enthusiasts by providing excellent customer service and a range of products from world leading brands, all whilst promoting and encouraging sustainability!

How will you make an impact?

  • Creating the Space Planning Strategy that underpins store segmentation and merchandising assortment planning
  • Acting as the key contact between the Retail and Merchandising teams to optimise stores
  • Supporting with the seasonal planning for ranging, aligning all activities across the Merchandising teams to ensure that the right decisions are made regarding space
  • Creating the store grading/clustering framework and producing actionable insights on how to best manage store grading and sales forecasts
  • Managing changes to the retail portfolio from a stock and assortment point of view, ensuring the successful and timely processing of all changes
  • Reviewing weekly sales and stock with space and density analysis, presenting results and actions to the Merchandising team and contributing to the weekly trade meeting with the wider business
  • Reviewing allocations and coordinating stock transfers between stores and the warehouse
  • Managing stock builds for end of season sales and promotional activities
  • Regularly reviewing outlet stock packages, identifying areas of opportunity and working with the Merchandising Administration Assistant to help achieve store budgets
  • Overseeing and managing the distribution of products from suppliers to Northern and Southern Irish stores and providing support to regional and store teams as required

Please note this role is 40 hours per week.

You’ll fit right in if you have:

  • Experience working in Branch Merchandising
  • Proven track record using a grading system
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strategic thinking
  • Proven experience in creating processes that improve efficiency
  • Previous experience working with reporting and replenishment systems
  • Commercial awareness with excellent communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • The ability to create reports and produce meaningful insight to drive business decision making
